It's easier than you think! Place a photo under and start filling in shades with letters. Be creative :)

yeah. But I'd recommend creating such artwork in illustrator or other vector based programs as you'll be constantly re-shaping and turning text to fit the picture and go with the flow. Just lower the photo's opacity/transparency to about 30% to see what you are doing ;)

Haven't used it, don't know it. If it works well with layers and uses vector based text, then it's all good :)
